Lancaster Landing

By pcwillows
Following on from yesterdays image here's another. The City Of Lincoln landing at Waddington prior to displaying.
Again altered to give a period look.

The last one still flying in this country - I think. A great sight and beautifully caught, especially the props - shutter speed spot on.

Indeed Rod,

Only two of these bombers are still flying, this one with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and the other with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton.

Long may they continue to fly too!

Nice picture. The two best bombers ever built, the Lancaster and the Mosquitoe. This is very good of the Lancaster. We had both at our local airfield.
