Skógafoss Waterfall

By pdunstan_Greymoon
I am not sure what makes a good mono photo as I have done very little. However, in this picture there was so many people and the colors of their jackets were all competing for attention so I felt mono is best.
Unfortunately being in a wheelchair meant getting around on the stones and rocks was very difficult, all made worse by the fact that the photographer in front kept moving in front of me who was also wearing quite a bright coat and distracting for the scene..

I really love B&W, or mono images. It seems to me to simplify things. And it’s a great way of getting rid of distractions, like brightly coloured clothing or advertising etc.
I think the photographer actually adds to the shot. The human element, if you like.
Next time just shout, “Get out of the way”😂

Your choice to turn it to mono was right. Great spectacle. The other photographer is a welcomed bonus, his overall size doesn't affect your image negatively.
Like the capture and the reason why its a mono is good to know. Debs
