'Back to Front'

By Peagreen
Taken end of September at Crosby Marina. A Canada Geese slipping back into the water. Wasn't to sure about the crop but felt it looked better with the concrete edging left in!! What do you think?

Thank you for your c&cs on 'Seaforth Dock Shed Mural' and for your time. Very much appreciatedSmile
Hope you enjoyed your wekend, have a good weekSmile Take care, Pauline

I guess a shot without the concrete edging might be more desirable, but better to get your shot of the landing rather than none at all, Pauline.

Thanks, Ronnie. I felt without the concrete edging there was no sense of purpose, just the rear end of a bird!!

Cracking shot Pauline, for me it makes more sense having the concrete in the FG, very nicely captured.

Take care

If you cropped the concrete out, I don't think it would be the same - great shot and timed very well..Jo

The concrete does give the sense that it has just jumped off. Good capture Pauline. Carole

I don't mind the concrete Pauline, it has to be taking off from somewhere. Moira

This image has certainly made a splash on here, it was well worth having a gander at. I agree with the other comments re the concrete, it needs to be there to give the image context
