dunraven rocks

By pebbles
Trying to capture the different colours, shapes and textures of this wonderful beach. Worked on it in photoshop, to bring out the colours, and a grad added to the sky as it was too burnt out.

Any comments or suggestions much appreciated.

Nice textures and shapes in the rocks. The only way you'll get sky detail is to use a couple of nd grads on camera, but if the sky was anything like today's it would still be a huge problem.

Nice composition - I like the shiny flat rock and it's nicely framed on the left side, although I might have included a little less of the rock face.

I know that problem with burnt-out skies only too well, but you've compensated for it well in this image, Alethea. The slight pink of the grad complements the tones of the landscape beautifully.
