good composition and lead in. However I think I might have liked a person in the frame to show where the footprints came from

Wow, didn;t expect the response to this one, it was a bit of an experiment for me. So thank you, much appreciated.

In answer to Biddy, the day was a little overcast on this hard to reach beach, so not many people around, the tide was coming in and formed this sand spit you had to wade through water to get to, so hence the isolation,

By the way the footprints are mine !

Lovely shot... Can't make any negative remarks about this. I had my question answered, as to whose footsteps they were too. I presume you waded back? Nice one. Alethea. Thank you.
Click. (Reposted Kimmeridge at your suggestion, btw. Thanks again.)

Great capture - the footsteps really take you into the shot! Lyns x

good shot, the footsteps do work!!

One comment, a tiny niggle and its only my opinion so you can tell me to go away and kiss a weasel if you want, but if you feel like doing this pic again, i think the footsteps should be bare feet! Boots seem a bit too safe, controlled!!

A great picture!!

Thanks again for all your comments and clicks, much appreciated.

Steve, now I have a dilemma, I am sure I had to take my boots off to wade through the water and can remember leaving them on the spit out of site of the shot. Yes, I must have because I waded through the water so that you could not see marks at the end. I can only say the sand was very soft and I am not at all heavy footed ! lol I must try this again with a lighter step !

Would never go and tell you to kiss a weasel, perish the thought ha ha.

Value all critique, most welcome.
