It's interesting what you say about the fixed focal point lens. I lost my (limited) ability to compose a street picture in camera when I got a digital camera with a zoom until I bought 50mm lens. But realy still stuck in the fillum (that's how my Irish ancesters pronounce analogue) age.

Smashing. I love the way the image looks slightly dated (perhaps from the vintage when the OM-1 went on the market) The uneven buttoning of the jacket just adds to the charm. BTW, great comment from Bert - 'contrast power-housing' LOL. All the best.

  • This is a terrific portfolio. I have really enjoyed looking at it. I love Mama's halo: not perfect - but for every boy knows his mama deserves a halo.

  • My daughter and I have had a look through your PF. We were both especially astonished by 'Smoking Kills' - a strange and powerful image. Edmund
  • Thanks for having a look at my shot and therefore leading me to your portfolio. Some 'old school' technical disciplines at work here and so much the better for that. Regards Edmund
