Hi Paul, I'm no expert but I'd have used a piece of black velvet cloth as my background so it's not split into two shades. The spoons could do with lining up a bit better, the foreground spoon handle wants moving to the right a touch and the back spoon needs to come forward and line up with the others. One other thing Paul is to watch out for distracting reflections.

I love these flower shots of yours Jennnn, they all have superb detail, colour, and light. I prefer the background in this one, than the one in your last upload.
