The Cuillin...

I always think of you when the forecast for Scotland is bad but the pictures always seem to belie the forecast & make me want to be there.

Macaque Baby by pennyspike

Macaque Baby

Cute they may be but you don't want to upset them as their teeth are mean & carry all sorts of nasties. I saw a young man teasing one with a banana............ The monkey won!

Offerings Lady by pennyspike

Offerings Lady

Thankyou kindly.
The market was such a great place for photography and definitely not one for tourists. It was really dark inside and full of hazards that would have the H & S people closing it down on the spot.
But it was full of fresh produce and goods for use in the festivals. I went back three times, much to the amusement of ny guide, who couldn't understand why I preferrred such places to temples & palaces.

Emerging by pennyspike

Just one long exposure using lightstick round the model then popped with a flash.
Thanks for the comments. All tricks of the trade shared by Diana one damp night when it stopped raining just enough for us to get the photos & keep the reflections.

Promises by Eviscera

Haven't been on for a while, it's good to see you still have the creative core burning through. Definitely like V2.
V3 is something I think we should all do from time to time so we can see the chain of thought.

So much has happened in 5 years but he's still very photogenic & mum still has the knack.

dust and gravity by Diana

dust and gravity

I had to think long & hard about this one while doing contortions in front of the computerWink.
It's a typical Diana bit of "Whacky Wizardry" I'm looking forward to seeing more of these when you've mastered that equipment.

Firebird by pennyspike

Thanks for the vs & cs, It's so long since I've uploaded anything I thought it would slip past unnoticed in the dead of night.Grin
The Firebird Suite is a great combination Moira.
The magic flames were courtesy of Diana and her bag of lighting effects.

That Special Place by Diana

That Special Place

Hold that pose!
My guess for what it's worth, For the light painting bit torch the structure using a red gel, assume the position, long exposure & delayed flash multiple exposures for the night sky & stacked.
good to see your shots again.
It has made me feel a bit guilty now.Wink

the new fire station by illuvator

the new fire station

You've beaten me to this one, it's such a striking building, I was waiting for the outer fences to come down.
The processing in this case echoes the lines & coloursof the building and suits the subject really well.
