Great Landscape Photography
A picture that commands attention! The dark colours of the bare mountain slopes give this image an eerie, almost out-of-world mood. The quietly grazing animals bring it back of earth as a warm, pastoral scene. The pale mountain on the far right distracts my attention a little but for other viewers it may reinforce the drama of the main subject by way of contrast with its sombre tones.
