Fine dining:)

By pentaxpatty
Good afternoon to you all.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments and votes , as always you are so kind. I do appreciate the time you take to look.

Some fine dining from the York Railway museum and the final view, how times have changed. I don't mind a coffee in a paper cup, but I do hate the rubbish that folk leave behind them.

I hope that you have had a lovely weekend. Thank you too for the lovely comments re my swimming challenge, I had a weekend off for good behaviour. Smile

Love and light Patty xxSmileSmile

Lesley and I dined many times on the old stream trains. She liked their Brown Windsor soup. As Lillian said a different age Patty, so thanks for the memory.

What a wonderful set of images Patty. I don't care for my coffee in paper cups as they are always too darn hot and I have to ask for another container to put the first one into.

A super set Patty - paper cups are a no-no with me. I like a nice china cup and saucer for tea and a china mug makes the coffee taste better. Smile

I like a cup and saucer, I hardly drink Coffee any more though Joan. But I used to love it.

All the tearooms use those old china tea sets - good way to recycle them.
Did you see programme last week where we learned that those paper cups are not fully
recyclable. Outside cover on cup is but interior is not!

An interesting comparison Patty and a good idea for a set.
And 'good behaviour ?' well done for that, it must've been a heck of a challenge Wink

Its good to see the tearooms using the old china cups and saucers, but those paper cups, ! just as bad as carrybags, we never learn anything. I see people back and forward to offices with the cups of coffee, don't they have a kettle in work any more? Even on the bus early in the morning. Lazy really.

I'd much rather drink my coffee from one of those beautiful cups in the lead image! Tongue have to go for the fine crockery and silverware as my faves here, Patty Smile

Great looking China Patty....we are fortunate in Australia, 99% of people use the dustbins provided in the streets. We seldom see rubbish lying around
