Angel trumpet with shadows.

By pentaxpatty
Hello to everyone. Once again totally blown away with all your comments and votes and lovely awards.

Special thank you to Peter (mollycat) Sylvia.Gary (milky ) Bernie (britchie) and Jukka. thank you all so much, you are all so very kind. I enjoy all the lovely comments and so pleased that you enjoyed my Blues week.

Today once again from the Botanical gardens , the very beautiful Angel trumpet flower with some Shadows for Saturday

Be careful when planting this - all parts of angel's trumpet are poisonous, or at least narcotic in small doses.

Relatives include datura, nightshade, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes and eggplants.

These are also called by the common name 'datura'. However, datura is an annual plant, while brugmansia is a woody plant.

Hope that you have a lovely weekend. Very cold here so may have to stay indoors .

Love and light Patty xGrinGrinGrin

It doesn't need a trumpet to attract attention - a good picture of this great colour, Patty.

This is one beautiful plant, Patty. Have these got a very sweet and overpowering scent to them as well? We had one that bloomed in the evening, and the scent was beautiful. The flower was milky white and was about 25 cm long. Beautiful photo! Regards M&M
