St John the Baptist, Tideswell

By pentaxpatty
Good morning to everyone, apologise for not viewing all your wonderful photos last night, I had a busy day out, first hydro therapy and then a trip out with my pal George. We had a trip to Tideswell, in Derbyshire not far from home. Aim to catch up today.

This is the interior of the Cathedral of the Peaks, not really a Cathedral but the parish church but it is know as this.

Thank you all so much for the wonderful comments, awards and votes this last week , Robin is still here and eating me out of house and home, he is such a lovely companion but greedy.

I do hope that you have a good weekend, lots of rain today, it has spoilt itself because yesterday was so beautiful

I hope you enjoy the Cathedral of the Peaks, a few shots the lead one with some Shadows for the Saturday theme.

Love and light Patty xGrinGrinGrin

I remember passing it a few years back but unfortunately we did not have time to stop: V 2 just as I seem to remember it and what a fine shot V 1 is.......and I do like the toning you have applied, Patty.

The sepia suits that beautiful interior Patty.
Beautiful 'Cathedral' - the likes of which will never be built again.

V1 appeals more to me, for I like the contrast of light and shade and the toning a lot, my friend. Take a good rest today, it might clear up tomorrow.

I do like the sepia - suits the subject so well - lots of history here!! The oldest building in the whole of NZ is probably less than 200 years old!! SmileSmile
