Grand slam

By pepperst
Possible choice for inclusion in the final part of my documentary on community rugby in North Wales.

Shot at Cobra club as Martin Williams crossed the line to complete the welsh victory the wave of emotion in the club seemed to flow through this lad sending him up and down flowing every move as if he were playing himself.

Presented as a three as I feel that is the best way to show the release that is in the final frame.

All comments welcome, more so if you are from a differant field, fresh eyes and that.

Cheers all, enjoy your easters,

And to those on call I feel your pain Smile

Marvellous sequence of shots. All the tension, excitement and celebration captured in the boy.

Great stuff - excellent depiction of the passion these folk are feeling for the game.

The boy's red shirt draws the eye well too.

(sorry - still haven't uploaded my scan for film night!!)

Terrific emotional shot. I really like his total absorption.

Like the presentation and the triptych works well in telling the story. I think the increase in blur over the three frames also helps with the story. Hardly any movement in pic 1 gives a sense of tension and expectation in the crowd as they are all still watching the game to loads of blur (but not too much) in pic 3 where you get a sense of joy and excitement in pic 3. You can tell what's going on without actually seeing the game. The only minus point (small one) is that you aren't from the same viewpoint or proximity in pic 3 as you are in the first 2.

Thanks Zander, yeah I noticed the error but couldnt correct at the time as I got squashed by a lot of happy welshmen at that moment!
