A continuation of the work I am doing on the RSPCA doc, please take time to view all the series if you can.

All comments welcome, I am using your advice personally and as part of the review section of my project so even if it is negative but relevant please say it because it is more helpful than you may think!

Thanks for looking,

I LOVE image number one, just a shame that the arm on the right is slightly distracting, but that pups face.....!

Image one looks so trusting.. image two looks cheeky and the last one looks worried...and it's owner looks as though she is relieved to place her trust in the hands of the vet... lovely!

great set, the first one is lovely with the hand placed under her face in a reasuring way and has good eye contact from the dog, the second i think needs a tad more contrast and the third needs a little lightening on the dogs face imo...keep up the very good work

Cheers Ian, Ive tried on the second one. The jacket has been de-saturated so I think I need to do the reverse on the dog. Ditto third.

I love this set Peps, I dont mind the arm in the 1st one as this is what was happening, you can still see the pups eyes which are full of trust.

Love the other two, they show different emotions to the first. I hope your getting these printed up into a book.

Was the third dog in to get his nails done lol Smile

Im watching you everyday and I can see your work improve everyday with all the stuff your learning and practising.

An adorable wee thing and nicely captued. This is my favourite of the three and I also don't find the arm too distracting.

Very nice shot

Love the expressions on their faces! My favourite is the first, followed by the second. The third looks a little dark...

No. 3 for me, although it's a little dark. The reason - because it tells more story than the other two, although they have their own good merits. This one shows a relationship between the woman and the dog - and the reliance they have on each other. It's got real overtones of a social document too. There's a lot you can read into this but I won't bore you with what I think Smile

In the first one yes the arm is in the way but I doubt it could be helped much. The supplication in the eyes is incredibly moving.

The second one - I think that because there is a person and the dog, I'm looking for more of a relationship between them given the context - just my personal thought.

Overall I think the mono works well. It homes in on what's important in the images and makes it a stark document of what's going on. Very powerful.
