Hoverflies Two.

By Niknut
A hot muggy day, & this plant in the garden was alive with I set the camera up on the tripod, to capture the two flower heads together, & waited, & waited some more !
The little blighters would not settle on my two flowers !!!! to lure them I dripped a tiny drop of Honey onto the yellow centres, & waited again......after a minute or two, the LH
fly appeared & while I took a shot of him, the second fly turned up on the RH side.....took a few shots of them both, at different apertures & focusing, & this image was the best of them,
with both flies sharp.....yippee ! So I got the shot I wanted, & the flies got their reward of the honey......sorted, & chuffed !!!...................

Thanks everyone for your feedback on 'End of the Beginning' ,......much appreciated !!.Grin

Super macro image Keith, great DOF and comp', next time mix a spoonfull of honey with water, put it in the microwave for 1 min' to mix it fully, then put it into a fine spray bottle and spray were you want. it works a treat.
