  • Tongue

Really like the modification karen, I like how the tongue is almost 3D and it has more of a main subject, i can tell that the tongue is the main subject whereas in the original it is hard to tell as there is a lot of space around the tongue.

  • INCOMING KITE!

Quote:it's unusual to see this point of view

Thanks for nicely saying, its too bad its just a bum, however i agree and feel that it would of been much better turned around, i like it for its sharpness in the main subject, and the vivid colours but not much else :/ i have seen sum much nicer shots and would of liked to capture some as great as that, i constantly remind myself that ihave only been doing photography at all for 5 months Grin

  • Tame Robin

Had a BBQ today and my little cousin and i had alot of fun with the robin because i put mealworms on my cousins back and the robin stayed there for a good 30 seconds or so, compared to the 10 seconds he stays in our hands.

  • Pink Foots

Like this image very much, at a glance seems photoshoped (cloned) however soon becomes obvious that it isnt! well done Smile

  • Jus' dryin' me wings

Thanks for the award Grin and yes, i was begging for him to turn around be all he did was fly away Sad thanks again Smile

  • Fish

hand held, in a dark room over my grandparents house, only light was from the tank which dropped the exposure time o 1/20 second so i was pretty pleased to say the least that i got some sharp shots! Smile

  • Snipe Attack

Great shot, i would love to see this in a tighter crop. and i will say again, i'd love to have photographic oportunities like this!

  • Wild Barn Owl

Good shot, i love how the bird has "room" to fly into, sometimes i feel people crop images too tightly, especially in situations like this where the animal is not looking towards the camera (unless, of course, enclosed is a desired effect). I only wish that i could have the opportunity to witness (and photography) such amazing creatures!

  • !Whaat?

i like this attempt and it is good as there are no shadows on her face, although two improvments for me are her shadow on the wall ( unless this is part of the image, then i think it could look good sticking out more) and the top of her head and her hand or cut off a tiny bit, only those two improvments otherwise it is good Smile

  • "Steamer Lane - Sunset, February 4, 2011"

I really like how so much is captured in one shot, there are silhouettes of the trees, sombody walking their dog i think, the foamy waves, and the wonderful sunset casting wonderful colours onto the sand.

  • WARNING!

The sign was shot with an air rifle, there were pellets scattered all over the floor beneath this sign, that might be what a moron hole is but im sorry i dont know what a moron hole is Smile lol

  • Lunar Eclipse?

shame that there is a dark almost smear across the top of the moon, i can safely say that isnt my lense and it is in fact a cloud Sad
    • 19 Jan 2011 8:54PM
  • Maddie

I like how the eyes seem really sharp in comparison to the soft fur, It goes well because fur is soft, and the fur has a soft look in the photo. Well it makes sense to me Smile
    • 13 Jan 2011 7:15PM
  • Jimmy

i see why it is called portrait and landscape the way you have a photo then Smile it would of liked better if i turned the camera?
    • 7 Jan 2011 3:34PM
  • high in the sky

For me it feels like the birds are somewhat trapped in the photo, i like photos where the animal has space to move ahead. On the contrary i love the whispy clouds they add real drama to the shot Smile

  • Meow...again

i think perhaps i should of captured all of her ears, though. Do you agree?
    • 27 Dec 2010 1:16PM
  • Meow

aaghhh i dont dislike them, i just have a sort of irrational fear, they, along with very young babies freak me out Sad it is very very strange but i get in with life since my mum is a childminder and we have three cats Smile

  • The Moon

This was taken at around 5pm, the sky was bright so i darkened it on my photo editing software, whenever i try to take a photo of the moon in the darkened sky, i also get a big white blob, and no tripod was used here, just my good ole trusty hands! Smile

  • The Last Straw

Some water droplet shots become somewhat a bore, but this is a really really good idea, i like the fact it is in a mug. And we can see it took a number of shots because of the water on the side of the mug ! Wink

  • Bug

sorry all, this is the wrong version of the image i uploaded, the edited one has simply cropped out the different colours from the top, im sure you can picture it in your head Wink
