Photography and music are my two passions. I edited photography magazines for around 20 years and launched the UK's first digital imaging magazine. I founded ePHOTOzine and was owner / publisher until 2013. The photos in my portfolio are ones I like from shoots I do in any spare time I have.

About Me

I came up with the idea for this friendly site in October 2000 and through a lot of hard graft from the team and support of members and the photographic industry we created, arguably, the best resource for photographers on the web.

Most of my photography tended to stem around trialling a piece of kit submitted for review, but now I take photos for pleasure and really enjoy the view through my camera's viewfinder when a macro lens is attached.

I switched from SLR to compact system camera in 2010 and have not looked back.

I've experienced many years in the film world using darkroom processes and was one of the early adopters of digital technology. I now shoot only digital and enjoy post processing. I don't believe a photo has to be as it was captured. Many of my photographs are edited in some shape or form to enhance the result.
