Creep! Smile

It is good though, very arty! Like the way the droplet appears trapped.

Nice work!

Looks OK at 500px but at 1000px it all looks soft, think the water drop needs to be a bit sharper, but I like the effect.

Ah well, have to increase the number of packets of cashews left again now, is it the phone box this week or the bench

A bit 'arty' in the description, but a well seen and captured image.

Nice close up,well captured.Possibly would transfer to watercolour,I would find it difficult to reproduce the clarity & shine in the water drop, the colours would be good to work with tho'

Very good description I thought and an abstract subject. A little soft, yes, but appeals to me.

Nice one Pete, stretching it a bit with all that artist's water stuff, but a great capture nonetheless.

Can't actually say why this attracted me (and I know that one of the most positive things you can do on epz is identify that!). But I just really like this image! Maybe the water, even though it's not sea or river.....maybe the subtle colour.......not really sure - and sorry I know that's not a lot of help.

I like the abstract, almost surreal nature of this shot. I can't decide if the softness on the water drop is adding or detracting, I guess I would have to see one where the drop is sharp to form a more solid opinion. My first impression after I opened the thumbnail was that I liked it though.

Stunning shot Pete would make a great big wall print. Yet again your use of DOF makes the ordinary that bit special.

Just spot on with the DOF.

There is other detail in this shot but it would have toke your eye away from the main focal point.

Nice shot IAJACKS

Just saw this pop up in the RC page. I sure am glad that 'somebody' included that page on EPZ, or we might miss good ones like this. Can't decide whether the soft or sharp approach would work better on the drop itself. But the colours and DOF make it look good.

Me too (beautiful shot) a bit special in my opinion.
Think I would have desaturated bottom left a little...I'll give it a go, probably mess it up though :-P

I realize you may not notice this comment since this picture was posted in '05 but, just in case...I really like this picture a lot. I love water droplets, I guess because I find them so challenging, and I love a challenge! The background is very appealing to me, as I also am a painter, and it looks like water coloring to me.
