Belvoir castle 2

By Pete
I used one of the soldiers I photographed at Sealed Knot a couple of weeks ago and placed him in front of Belvoir castle using a section from my recent upload. I then turned it all brown. Hopefully the dates of the two parts make the shot factually possible, but no doubt some historian will tell me off if notWink

This works really well. Wouldn't have known that there had been any manipulation if you hadn't said.

Never was any good at history, but the glasses spoil it!

Great shot, very moody - the castle looks great in the background. Den

Super mono, but he does look a bit fed up!
The manipulation is really effective, appears to be just good use of DOF.

I really like your placement of subjects during manipulation. They seem to tell a story all of the time.
Great shot.

Good piece of manipulation Pete, but it looks like the forground character and the background were taken using two different film speeds (if you know what I mean.. sorry)

Sorry Pete, but the curtains on the first floor look a little too modern and spoil the picture.....!
