An introduction...

Photography and music are my two passions. I edited photography magazines for around 20 years and launched the UK's first digital imaging magazine. I founded ePHOTOzine and was owner / publisher until 2013. The photos in my portfolio are ones I like from shoots I do in any spare time I have.

I'd like to introduce you to my new photography companion. Henry P. Fortescue-Smythe. Henry P will be coming with me on photo shoots in the future and I will be documenting his journey.

Today he was with me and the D&D club in Laughton Woods. Here he is photographing a Fly Agaric shroom.

The photo was taken with the Toy lens on the Olympus EP2

I've been seeing photos featuring Lego characters for a few years but when I spotted this Victorian photographer and thought he was more relevant and decided to have a go myself. His camera is a half plate - I think I'll let it be a Houghton Victo.

It was good to meet and be in the presence of the very Fortescue-Smythe....such a dedicated victorian gent and photographer.
I am sure he and Monsieur Jean-Paul Dupont Blanc will cross cameras at some point in the very near future Smile

Pete it Henry who stood on your shroom, you'll need words with him before his next outing.

Oh and this shot Henry took could be a contender for POTW
