Pete

Photography and music are my two passions. I edited photography magazines for around 20 years and launched the UK's first digital imaging magazine. I founded ePHOTOzine and was owner / publisher until 2013. The photos in my portfolio are ones I like from shoots I do in any spare time I have.

Photo365 - 329 - a shaft of light

I woke up this morning to see sunlight finding its way though a window, and then out through a door onto another door. One of the good things about winter is that the sun is low and the bright sunlight always slips through the cracks. A simple shot on the iPhone / Hipstamatic showing where it landed.

The pattern from the reflection of the door handle hasn't picked up which is a shame as that added extra sparkle

As I went to rephotograph it the sun had changed position and the moment was gone

I do like these fleeting moments when you capture something that'll you'll never capture again. And what we don't know about, we won't notice its absence. Good border.
