2 Dec 2011 6:22PM Views : 6458 Unique : 603A sheet of A 4 paper cut into five strips and placed on top of another and lit from above left. It's a bit of an optical illusion. No paper was folded. Each of the five strips were taped at one end and placed on their edge so they were about 1.5in high. Some didn't touch the base all the way along so let light through underneath. This created subtle tonal changes and the effect you see here.

I've been playing with a new filter I bought, Topaz Adjust, and thought this made nice testing material, so I had a go - I had it smooth out details in the paper texture, which put more emphasis on the lines and tones - quite a nice effect, but since I can't upload a picture in a comment on a blog post, I can't show it to you...
(Wouldn't that be an interesting thing to add as a feature to the blogs, being able to put a picture in a comment on a blog post? It's just an idea...)
