I think this one's the Bolbitius Vitellinus, better known as the Yellow Cow Pat Toadstool. But I may be wrong. Taken at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park Meet 23rd October. Thanks to Ian for dragging me away from a different clump to show me this one

the little water droplets make this one a bit special for me.
Well done old man.
Good shot Pete, like the soft muted colours.
Nice one Pete, like the detail and soft muted light, good use of DOF too:0)
Nice shot, well done, great lens. Cheers, Jason
excellent dof - love it!
Beginning to realize how wonderful fungi can look. Brilliant shot and wonderful DOF maker it almost 3d in appearance.
Nice one Pete.
Take care Victor
Excellent shot, Pete - terrific use of depth of field and great detail where it matters.
Highly Commended. ;0)
Yep I reckon you should give yourself an HC on this one too....
DOF/POV is spot on and the detail with the water droplets on the stalks of the two muchrooms to the right is exceptional mate!
nice dof and background , clean and detailed shot of the fungii group - like the water droplets on the grass and the light shimmrring on the heads - f
lovley shot pete like the detail of the water droplets, glad it rained.
Bright and sharp against dark and blured work for me.
top shot IAJACKS
PS thanks for like.
Love this shot especially the water droplets. Like the way it shows the different shapes as it grows as each one is at a different stage.
The moist conditions really were perfect for this shot. I love the line-up in this composition, and of course you didn't forget to get the background exactly right.
so this is what you were doing lying on the wet grass!! nice DoF. cheers, chris
Gorgeous shot. Mounting your camera up-side-down on a tripod, really seems to work for you Pete.
Wonderful range of shapes, well chosen composition.
Great shot Pete !
The blurring and tones in the background
recreate the atmosphere well...
Well captured. Seeing all these shots of fungi is tempting me to buy a macro lens but I can't afford one. May have to go on Santa's list. Thanks for sharing.
A lovely fungi shot .not always easy to do.
Nice clear shot, like the water drops, just adds that little sparkle.Nice dof, well worth a look at the larger version.
well worth a 30th Pete
Love the soft tones in this...
Nice background and the water droplets add a nice bit of extra sparkle.
The tones of the hazy background work really well on this and I like the added interest of the water droplets.
Like the early morning feel to this one Pete, the lighting and reflections in the water droplets are excellent.I also like the way you have got the focus on the subject in the shot.
Not the perfect image, but it is however perfectly photographed ☼☼☼☼☼
Nice image and angle. Well taken. click. John
Thanks all, comments appreciated
Super stuff Pete - only nit pick is whether a slight adjustment of view point would have separated the 2nd schroom from the 3rd. Love the sheen of the wet caps and those droplets really add something. Cheers, Martin
Sadly second and third were touching Martin. I considered cheating and doing a bit of cloning, but if you look close you'll see the tip of the third pressing on the second.
It just works so well
excellent shot good dof and detail .andy b
fantastic shot, love the detailing and dof
thanks beanie x
this one leaps out from your portfolio Pete. Really like the way you have captured the different stages of growth.
