almost man against nature in this- the grain makes it seem a bit sinister as the turbine overpowers the delicate dandi clock

I do like the concept Pete but for me this one is just a tad dark, perhaps could have done with a little more backlighting on the Dandy seedheads in order to add a touch more contrast to the image.
There are a couple of light splodges right at the bottom of the frame, each side of the Turbine which do take my eye a bit...clouds I guess....if this had been mine I would have had a go at getting rid of them as they add nothing to the image...for me anyway Sad
I see a wee dust bunny top left....sorry.
I do like the noise on the bg & your description is perfect for the subjects.

Thanks all, and to Janet for extended critique Smile
Quite a tricky one as the dandelion wasn't backlit and I didn't want it to take prominence over the turbine. Processed as intended. I'm having a dark period Wink
Well spotted on top dust ...there's one bottom left too.
Good idea to lose the clouds.

A well thought out image, with super detail in the dandelion seeds despite the dark and grainy treatment. And I like the description, "to germinate and generate", which is interesting in itself because germination produces the next generation. A powerful image indeed....
