A rather beautifully captured photograph Peter, depicting the rather stunning Common Swallowtail , lovely colour, markings, and detail throughout.

I don't know if they're active at the moment in Norfolk but have just spent some time watching two of them battling for supremecy over a buddleia (not sure of the spelling) in the front garden. They aren't usually so active here (in the garden, that is).
