taken at snowdrop vally on the brendon hills somerset found this a dificult place to take photos as the light was strange and not much contrast of colour please comment

Lovely find.
I might of cropped right in --say half way down ,to lose the wood,leaving the eye to roam over the snowdrops.

Cropping in tighter and then increasing contrast and sharpness a bit helps. Lot of the problems may be due to the light but some are down to the kit lens. It is consdiered by some to be the worst lens ever made in the history of photography. That may be a little bit of an exageration but no muchSmile

This brings back memories. I used to visit a snowdrop valley not far from Dunster. wonder if this is the same place. Nice shot showing the carpet of snowdrops.

Colours look fine to me, Needs to be just a touch sharper but it's a lovely image.

Hi Pete. I like the composition as it is.
The trees are as much of the woodland scene as the Snowdrops.Large V is good.
Regards your colour mention - if you take 10% Blue out of this it will help considerably.
