A very well observed, composed, and photographed coastal landscape, with huge interest, charm and character throughout Dougie...

Unusual and very striking image, Dougie. Very skillful of you to cook up such a successful image from such cold grey ingredients... a tasty dish indeed Grin
...and that wave curve is much more than just the icing on the cake.

Alan

Lots of Assynt atmosphere Dougie with Stac P. overlooking this lovely bay.. The movement in the wave is magic with lots of texture in the sea. We didn't get here on this occasion, but we're returning in November.

A beautiful moody landscape Dougie. The lines of the waves are just right.

The > of the wave matches the upturned V of the peak. Very satisfying. Welcome back from your wee breather!

A thoughtful idea, to link foreground and background with that discreet but insistent wave. Distinctive and satisfying.
Welcome back, Dougie!

That link with the curving wave could only come from a landscape photographer of such high esteem and that windblowin the centre of the surf sets it up for me Dougie. This to my mind is an image conjured up from nothing.Excellent.

Very natural looking. Gives a sense of Autumn and Winter coming in soon. Glad to see you posting again Dougie.......Sandy

It is amazing how beautifully you captured the waves. And they take your eye directly to the Stac. Oh, aye...

PS. Got two post cards on Saturday. Was a lovely surprise. Thank you so much. They're going into my very special collection.

Cool shot.
Mick.
It was mind numbingly cold Mick, without getting into the water.

Looks cold and driech excepts for that little glint of light on the breaking waves. Beautiful in all weathers

Two dark bands with the curved crest of the wave linking them together: timed to perfection and captured in such an idyllic location.
Ronnie.
