Architectural Features II

By nonur
Thank you all for your kind comments and suggestions! I thought I should upload two versions, both B&W this time, hoping that you'd like them better. I increased the contrast of V1, but I did not like the result. Please let me know what you think of these, if you got time.
I'm going to Mersin, a city on the South coast, to put on a painting exhibition with my friend Ibrahim Çoban, the painter and photographer. So, I will have a break for two days.

As the original postings were virtually colourless, presenting them as B and W images seems completely rational, and for me to works well: I actually prefer these versions.

V1 for me. I like the repeated shapes and the interlinking of them.Smile

Two excellent versions, Nezih - I think the work you've done has improved both images!

I much prefer these to yesterday's. No more contrast needed in V1 - b&w gives the necessary coldness.
I still prefer V1 to V2 and I've been thinking about why - it's because V2 is nearly face on but not quite, if you look at the round openings at the top, five horizontal bars are showing in the circle on the left, four of the right - I want to do a teensy bit of skewing.

Mono versions for me as well, Nezih, and I'm still going with v2 for the contrasting shapes and arrangement, although v1 is a lot stronger than the previous v1 with the increase in contrast.
