Those tall connifers make this look like a view of Hong Kong! Lots of depth in layers and the sky in the background is very interesting and dramatic. I get a real feeling of mediterranean warmth from the colours.
Being formative, while the path provides some interesting FG it does lead one's eye out of frame rather than into the view and so I'd be tempted if I were shooting it to lose it all together if I couldn't make it lead in. There's plenty of interesting shrubbery there to act as FG interest instead.
