Bluetit

I have uploaded this to explain my problem.

I need a faster shutter speed to freeze the action, but ISO is already 800, aperture f5.6.

it would appear that without a sunny day I cannot do much more.

Even though the body of the bird is a little fuzzy, I like the open wing. You get a sense of the power of the bird.

I think the problem with this shot isn't so much the shutter speed but the point of focus. Had you focused not on the table but on the bird it's body may well have been sharp enough. The movement of the wings adds to the picture.

Tend to agree with the above. The feeder is also soft and presumably that wasn't moving.

I know this one is out of focus, I just posted it to show that 1/640 is not enough to freeze the movement. I was expecting it to land on te table, and had manual focussed on that spot. Nobody had told the bluetit, however!
