The Waiting

By peterjuerges
Trying to capture the false dawn light as it illuminates the mist on Astbury Mere, Congleton. The soft pastel tones that only seem to come with below freezing temperatures and the autumn months.

All a bit central, but still very nice. Cut a slice off the bottom and take that LOGO with it. You might have lightened it, but it still pulls the eye like hell - what a pity.

I like the soft pastel tones, would agree thought the composition could be improved. Have done a mod, cropping from the bottom and little from the top and side..a slight increase of saturation and warm LBA filter in PS..

Cheers and hope this helps

Nice moody image.

Your single focal point (the birds) do need to be placed on a third perhaps.

Its nicely minimalist , and I dont find the logo intrusive at all , its subtle enough not to act as a distraction.
