when it comes to Your photo I must say I am impressed. Wellcomposed, lovely colours, maybe just the grass on the bottom of the shot is too bright but in general good work

Thanks Michal, I agree with your comment..I was experimenting with the dynamic range after metering on the tree and I think I reached its (the camera) limits.

Fantastic shot of a very interesting tree Peter - just a thought - have you tried cropping out the bottom rock which is perhaps a bit bright ???

Smashing composition and detail - what a fascinating looking tree! Agree with the above comments about the grass being a tad over exposed, but it's still a super image.

The composition of the foliage and it's shape really add to the dementions of this photo to make it stand out.
