Loch Katrine

While a certain few who will remain nameless but you know who you are had brilliant weather on the Saturday, yep,we had rain.....so I decided to change this to a mono version and see what happens...and I am quite pleased so let me know what you think....

By far the best for me Petra no over saturated colour to pull at the eye just a wonderfully moody image with lots of nice tones. The FG reeds and grasses are very nice indeed.

I like the square crop and the mono works fine too. Both images look fine although I think I would favour the sharper one if pressed.

It's a nice photo from that angle (but psst, it's not Loch Katrine, it's Loch Achray Wink )

But it's a good shot - I especially like the foreground.

I was going to say that this looks surprisingly good for a shot of Loch Katrine, but ...

this is one of the reasons why I usually don't put titles in the borders of photos - an EPZ gallery description is quicker to fix... Wink

you really managed to make a nice image out of a dreadfull flat,wet day here Petra....the only thing I remember being good about this spot was when Git fished out those mars bars ! Tongue

My goodness Petra, you are becoming a rising star here on EPZ. What a miracle you have performed here - on THAT rainy day! Or did you borrow Angie's hat...? Wink

I love this shot - the leaves in the foreground, so simple, but so 'elegant' and OK the rain was a pain, but it provided a great moody sky too. A Grean B&W piece of art!
