Rime Nor Reason

By pfheyes
The title is a awful pun based on the rime ice on the foreground rocks.

Another taken from the summit of Pen Yr Ole Wen towards the Glyders. A bit of a stock shot this one, but I like the ice patterns of the foreground against the mountain background.

This was taken mid-morning and, while the sun was still relatively low in the sky, it reflected brightly from the snow, forcing me to use an ND grad in reverse to hold back the foreground.

Cold innit?

Pete

This is the best processing Pete, no hot spots, and all that detail, great job sir, patience and perseverance.

Appalling pun, great shot! Wonderful detail in the foreground and lovely "light-dark-light-dark" contrasts again!

Very parky indeed...
