Fabulous, as we expect from you these days. The tones and depth of colour all the way down into the valley are quite superb. The clarity in the large version is wonderful. One of these days I will manage to get this detail.
All the very best

Beautiful compoaition and colour contrasts although I fins the very bright (almost completely burned out) bottom left corner rather distracting.

As said, stunning detail. Love the way the snow line gives way to the sunlit browns below.

Thanks everyone

Hi Andy - the bright snow is definitely not burned out on my monitor, there is detail there. Having said that, I agree about the distraction it might cause which is why I cropped the image - there is more of the sunlit slope in the original.

All the best,

Hi Chris - yeah, I agree that the text is a bit pale, I did lighten it a notch on this one.

Hi Phil - good to hear from you! Yeah, Anna is doing well. She's now re-entering the 'uncomfortable' phase and baby is kicking like a good 'un. Smile

The large version brings out the detail on the fellside and in the valley, Pete. Great composition - I love how the eye is drawn into the hanging valley in the foreground.
