Closeup Coyote

By pgarwood
Out in the Colorado Rockies I came across this wild coyote. I did not get too close as it had sharp teeth and some whimpering, howling pups nearby.
However it proved co-operative when I asked it to smile! Seriously I stalked this one for several hundred yards across the grasslands as it hunted for food. Patience paid off but I had just one chance of getting the shot like this.
