Introducing Oliver

By phil_j
You may remember that we recently had to say a heart breaking farewell to our Little rescued Cavalier King Charles, Ruby.
The house hasn't been the same without her around, and coming home in the evening just wasn't the same, we are both missing her so much.
Well, after a phone call from a rescue centre on Friday and a trip to Wolverhampton this morning.....I would like to introduce to you Oliver "Ollie" our new family member.
Ollie is 9 months old and was in need of a quick rehome after his previous owner had a major health problem, he was to be placed in a dogs home, but we were thought of and asked if we would help.

There wouldn't have been a shortage of owners to take this one on.......Were still coming to terms with losing Cassie and don't somehow think we'll be getting another for a long while Sad.....I'm sure Ollie will give you hours of pleasure.

Nice picture, like the shallow depth of field. It's always nice to see people taking rescue dogs. I hope you have a happy time with Oliver, and lots of photo opportunities too.

Thanks Ade, it was a real tough decision for us as well, nothing will ever take Ruby's place in our hearts, and even on the way up to collect Ollie this morning, there were plenty of tears in the car.
