As Monty Python would have said, "And now for something completly different!"

Shot taken this afternoon in freezing cold conditions from Hammersmith Bridge, (it actually started to snow!) of Isis, the reserve crew of Oxford University for today's 159th Boat Race.
At the time of this shot they had about half a length lead over the Cambridge Boat, Goldie, but were about to get warned from the umpire for getting a littel close to each other.

Thank you for the comments on yesterday's Puffin, and especially thank yo to Adrian (Tomcat) Sammy (SammyRatFan) and Alan (Alan_Baseley) for their User Awards, as always very much appreciated.

GrinGrinGrin Oh wow, great image. it did look cold, we watched it live from South Africa today on TV. What athletes they are, super fit. I believe the water was -2 deg... we were just saying that the spectators really did brave the elements today but bet the pubs made a small fortune afterwards...GrinGrin
