Stag II

By phil_j
Many thanks for the tremendous response to last nights upload of the Red Deer Stag.

Continuing with the theme this evening with another taken Sunday within Richmond Park.

The weather was dark, wet and miserable, and there was little in the way of challenges to the dominant Stags, many of the pretenders to the throne were content to lay just away from the main group of hinds that would surround the top Stag.

This impressive animal held around 20 hinds, and would occasionally stand and announce his authority with some impressive calling.

Many thanks for looking.

Phil
