Kyle Rhea, Skye

Taken on a recent trip to Skye. The weather was awful and it rained most days which gave us little opportunities and limited light.
This was the cottage I stayed in with my uncle and a friend.
I used an ND Grad placed carefully over the sky to retain the colours on the morning. I like this shot as it was typical of the weather that week, luckily my umbrella didn't sneak into the shot!

I like the coldness of this image.
(Made me smile to see a 'Skye' and a 'Sky' picture next to one another on the gallery.)

Thanks for your comments. Ref the otters, we saw them most days but light was so poor my 100-400 5.6 didnt cope too well, lovely to see them all the same

Lovely image of what is no1 on my wish list of places to visit but a little concerned about the weather and the midges there....Phil
