Summer Blues

By Phil_Nunez
Newton by the sea, Northumberland
This lovely little coastal settlement was a hive of activity last Sunday evening. Looking towards the setting sun was lovely, but I preferred the calmness of the water and these boats anchored in the bay looking the opposite way.
Hope you enjoy, thanks for looking

This is my kind of photo. Great composition with the rocks providing foreground interest. Brilliant - Keith

I love the spacing between the boats, great composition and foreground as well as a textbook case of 'waiting for the light'.

Well done Phil.

Gorgeous mate, as mentioned on the phone I really like the little bits of colour in the boat on the left and the bouy. A nice capture.

It may be my screen or a consequence of shrink the photo for up loading but it may be over sharpened a little, still gets my vote tho Smile

Incredible blue tones here, I think I may have been tempted to include more of the rocks in the foreground and not cut them in half, Agree fully with Nickscape.

Now this is very nice - I love the blue tones and the tranquility this image conveys. Would be nice to see a bit more of the rocks, but apart from that I can't imagine any way to improve it.

Again I agree with Nickscape, but the voting on ePZ is hardly something to get too bothered about. This image is good and it doesn't need votes to prove it.
