Tide Out,St.Mary's Island Lighthouse

By phil99
Taken last week on a weeks holiday up the coast at Beadnell. I have visited 3 times now and every time I am unlucky with the light. Within 10 minutes of taking this a heavy grey mist descended and it was an awful drive back up the coast for 40 odd miles to Beadnell. "I 'll be back". Anyway this was perhaps the best of 3 shots taken......Many thanks for any previous votes , comments etc. Have a good weekend..... Phil

Yeah Phil you certainly made a shot from nothing...I was there last week and shortly before 8 am the mist came rolling in ...maybe the same morning ?

Inspite of the light there's a lot of interesting features in your shot. Its composed so well, getting the detail from the reflection and the wall, and those interesting patterns on the sand
