The variety and detail in our moths never ceases to amaze me. There are thousands of species and sub species that we never see - as in the main they are nocturnal and only become active after dark. It was fascinating to see this Burnished Brass in close up. Hope you like it. Phil

Yes, it is amazing - this one is quite similar to the 'Y' family! Its a brilliant macro, all details spot on, I love the focus on the lichen as well! Good shot.

Hi Jen' I am afraid I am a little confused by your comments - Firstly the owner of which picture ?. If you are implying that I need to improve I will try harder. If your comments refer to my comments on other peoples pictures, to my knowledge I have never said anything that is likely to offend. Just the opposite I am always prepared to give constructive advice. Sorry if Iv'e missed the plot here. Phil
