A cracking macro shot, love the details in the wings. I too uploaded a macro shot today with fine wing details, but not as good as this

8 inches-- I have a sigma 105--- can go to 8 inches, but the dragonfly usually does not sit still-- or , I do not care to wade in the swampy water-- LOL-- this is fantastic! Jennnnnn

excellent, you lucky so n soSmilecapture, guddun.
I thought I had a guddun of a Female Banded Demoisel on Sunday, munching away on her breakfast, just about to press the shutter and she decided she would rather be on my shoulderSmile and then on my finger, but, nowhere that I could get a pic.

Woah! Amazing, slightly scary photo! Love the detail.. I never knew Dragonfly's were hairy, fascinating! How do you get so close? M camera has a green focusing light that scares insects and things off, might be why I got stung.. Don't know what to do about it tho Sad
