LITTLE BITTERN FISHING

By PhilG_DPAGB
Taken on the Greek Island of Lesvos (or Lesbos) - I had to drive up a river bed to get close enough to this feeding Bittern. It was totally oblivious to me as it was so intent on catching baby frogs. great to watch but not so great for the frogs.

If I am getting really awkward, I would like to see a little more space to the left of the bird, but still a cracking shot.

I would agree with newtman if it was a camera club type picture. But as I need to eat from time to time my brief is - get it in - get it sharp - and get it croppable, If you crop the left hand side of an image you lose some 50% thus degrading any reproduction. Hope that explains "my Style". PhilG.

Good shot I agree about the left hand side thing but I like it.
