One of the UK's rarest butterflies the Heath Fritillary, here roosting upon its larval food plant Common Cow Wheat.

Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II, 180mm f3.5 macro, tripod + ball head. ISO100, 1/25 @ f11, processed in Lightroom CC, finished in Photoshop CC.
