Inca Steps

The Takesi trail is one of the most popular treks in Bolivia going from a 4600 metre pass down to around 2000 metres in the tropical Yungas region and is probably the best preserved Inca paving in area that once was the Inca empire.Over 500 years old this road still serves the few tiny local communties and shows the engineering brilliance of the Incas for their time.
