I was out on my bike along the river and needed a rest so I decided to have a go at some flower heads. After several failed attempts I resorted to pulling off a head (don't tell anyone) and placing it on my bike in a position that allowed me to lay down and rest my elbows on the floor. As I was laying there 3 giddy dogs pounded on me. After their owner retrieved them I got back down and eventually got a decent shot.
Macro's aren't as easy as they look, I really do need a tripod!
I have tried to work within the rule of thirds but have found it quite challenging. I would appreciate any feedback and/or ideas how I could compose or crop the images differently.
The shots have not been modified in software apart from cropping and changing background.
