A great jetty when the weather is good Ryan, I know what you mean re the highlights to the left, I had the same issue when we went last year.

My eyes keep going to the two front posts which are badly leaning, not much you can do about that in reality but I would have skewed them in PS to get them vertical. It's difficult with the wife or a dog in tow and you often end up rushing the picture, I dont usually take my Mrs with me for that reason, that said we both went to Spurn Point last week!! Nice shot with good movement in the waves, the light as kind to you on Sunday I see but I didn't manage to get there for sunrise like you unfortunately, I was there 2 days before you on the Friday, I agree about the walk, I drove 125 mile to get there! Well worth it though.

Excellent juxtaposition with the three figures eagerly looking on as she plays her tune, she looks totally immersed in the song. Excellent picture.

    Quote:Great drama in that sea!Wink
Did you have to walk far to get to this point? I have always fancied going up there but heard it was quite a walk after the sea destroyed the road a couple of years ago.

Hi Ryan, it's about a 3.3 mile walk from the car park to the tip of the spit. we did about just over 2 miles and turned back. You could possibly drive it but only in a 4x4 with a high ground clearance as the concrete road disappears and you end up driving on the sand/rocks. There is a barrier near the car park 4.00 all day which was locked, not sure if it's always like that but the BBC were filming Countryfile when we were there so take a chance, maybe somebody who lives more local could answer this one? Glad you like it too..KR Phil
