Many thanks for the vast amount of User Awards and comments on my last upload from about 500 meters South of this image, it's probably my most successful image to date and I was just amazed how well it was received. Thank you.

Here's a small blue fishing boat at sunset on a very rare still evening on the Fylde coast. I had to walk out onto the wet boggy sands to clear the grassy foreground as I only wanted the sea in the foreground, I was with a fellow photographer who helped me out after I had taken the 3 minute shot as my wellies sunk that far the suction would not let me pull them out! He knew the area well and knew it was safe were we stood so I went with his advice, much to say I got out in one piece!
